🏆 We won! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏆
All of the daily training paid off, and we are incredibly proud that Waitaria Bay School took out 1st place overall at Canvastown Pelorus Clusters Schools Cross Country 🎉🥇
Our fantastic results:
🥇 Emma – 1st place (3km)
🥇 Annie – 1st place (1km)
🥉 Jazzie – 3rd place (1km)
🏅 Ruby – 5th place (2km)
🏅 Freddie – 5th place
🏅 Maxen – 6th place
A special mention to Pennie, our preschooler, who also completed the race – what a superstar! ⭐
To top it all off, Emma also won the Open Race (2km)! 🏆👏
A huge thank you to Canvastown for organising such a wonderful event. We really enjoyed the new venue, and the atmosphere, organisation, and food were all fantastic. The weather was on our side too, making for a beautiful day and a great trip home.
We are so proud of all our runners and the effort they put in. Well done, team Waitaria Bay School!
